The Luverne Textured Rubber Tow Guard is a simple trailer hitch attachment that provides a reliable barrier between your tow vehicle and trailer. The Tow Guard acts very much like a set of heavy-duty mud flaps. Only instead of merely covering your rear tires, it serves as a full-width wall at the rear of the vehicle, providing superior protection for the trailer. Also, unlike most mud flaps that are designed for permanent installation, the Tow Guard can conveniently be installed or removed as necessary, using a heavy-duty clamp system.
